Requirements

  • degree or HND/ HNC Mechanical Engineering with equivalent experience
  • mechanical Design
  • experience in a similar role ideally within the Audio Industry
  • good written and oral communication skills
  • solidworks experience desirable, also Autocad/Inventor acceptable
  • ability to understand/produce technical drawings
  • self motivated
  • familiarity with technical specifications

Responsibility

  • we are constantly expanding. and currently looking for an enthusiastic individual, to join our team as Mechanical Design Engineer
  • responsible for the mechanical design of loudspeaker enclosures, and associated fixing hardware, utilising both plywood, metals and moulded products
  • void Acoustics is a Loudspeaker Manufacturer based in Poole, making some of the best night club and event sound systems in the world. Highly successful in the International and UK markets, exporting to more than 30 countries
  • responsible for generation of Assembly drawings and bills of materials
  • responsible for carrying out design change requests in a timely manner
  • responsible for reporting progress of all assigned tasks to the Engineering Manager and Project Management teams
