Responsibility

- engage in heavy lifting of products, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury
- operate forklifts safely for the movement of heavy items within the warehouse
- utilise a Warehouse Management System for tracking inventory and managing stock levels effectively
- assist in maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
Requirements
- previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential
- strong understanding of materials handling procedures and best practices
- ability to perform quality control checks with attention to detail
- experience with picking, packing, and stock management is advantageous
- capability to lift heavy items regularly, demonstrating physical fitness for the role
- operate a forklift to safely handle high-value frames and other materials, especially when unloading from lorries
- conduct regular inventory checks and document product conditions
- perform thorough job number checks, ensuring that all items align with loading sheets
