Responsibility

  • we are looking for a talented Sous Chef to join our superb chefs team at Mortons Bistro
  • mortons is a leading, busy, independent bistro in the heart of Gilmorton
  • we have an excellent reputation for our use of fresh produce, seasonal menus and a friendly service
  • the position is on a permanent basis, working full time approximately 42 hours per week
  • own transport is essential. There are no public transport options within in walking distance of Mortons
  • the role would suit a driven Sous Chef or similar with experience in a fresh food environment, who takes pride in their work and has a passion for cooking as well as the ability to lead a team under the Head Chef
  • we currently serve food from 9am to 4pm Sunday to Thursday, and we extend our hours into the evening on Friday and Saturday nights
  • responsibilities will include managing a designated section of the kitchen to an outstanding standard, working closely with the team to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and having a positive input into the kitchen’s performance
