we are looking for a talented Sous Chef to join our superb chefs team at Mortons Bistro
mortons is a leading, busy, independent bistro in the heart of Gilmorton
we have an excellent reputation for our use of fresh produce, seasonal menus and a friendly service
the position is on a permanent basis, working full time approximately 42 hours per week
own transport is essential. There are no public transport options within in walking distance of Mortons
the role would suit a driven Sous Chef or similar with experience in a fresh food environment, who takes pride in their work and has a passion for cooking as well as the ability to lead a team under the Head Chef
we currently serve food from 9am to 4pm Sunday to Thursday, and we extend our hours into the evening on Friday and Saturday nights
responsibilities will include managing a designated section of the kitchen to an outstanding standard, working closely with the team to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and having a positive input into the kitchen’s performance
