Responsibility
- vittles Foods is a well established food manufacturer producing high quality frozen and chilled desserts for UK retailers
- manage production costs to deliver KPI targets and continuous improvement plans
- plan, control and allocate labour resource requirements to meet demand
- ensure SOPs are implemented and monitored
- ensure correct product specifications are followed
- apply HACCP processes to deliver food safety performance
- we are looking for a Production Manager to oversee the overall operations of processing and and manufacturing food products, as well as ensuring compliance to food and health and safety regulations
- achieve highest GMP standards through daily/weekly monitoring
Requirements
- they will demonstrate strong leadership and inter-personal skills, with the ability to motivate their team through positive communication and recognising achievements
- this is an excellent opportunity to work with a passionate and committed team with further training and development options available
- the ideal candidate will have at least 4 years management experience in a food manufacturing facility. They will have a good understanding of HACCP and health and safety regulations
- we are looking for someone with good IT and numerical skills who is confident collecting and analysing data. They should also have a results driven approach to work and excellent planning and organisation abilities
