Responsibility

  • ensuring young people and children’s engagement throughout sessions
  • encouraging participation in inspiring and all-inclusive activities our project and community partner delivers
  • provide opportunities for young people to pursue personal hobbies and interests
  • support the personal and social development of young person through utilizing in house/external group activities, programmes, workshops, and events
  • provide a platform and pathway to independence through life skills and accessing services /support in communities they live
  • promote inclusion and building of positive relationships with other young people of all backgrounds
  • ensure safeguarding and welfare of young people is paramount in line with our policies and procedures
  • contribute CIN/TAYP meeting with parents and professionals

Requirements

  • childcare, Teaching or Social /Youth Work Qualification
  • 3 x years’ experience working with children and young people within SENCO School and Targeted Youth Settings

Contract type

  • varied & Flexible – Our service provides community outreach support afternoon/evening sessions and weekends
  • successful candidates must be available at least 2 weekends per calendar month
  • part time Contract: 15 hrs per week
  • pay: £12.50 per hour
  • hours: Wed 5-9pm, Friday 1-5pm, Sat 12:30-5:30pm, Sun 5-7pm
