Requirements

• proven experience as a Brick Mason or similar role
• proficient in masonry techniques including bricklaying, blocklaying, and stone masonry
• familiarity with different types of bricks, blocks, and construction materials

• ability to read and interpret blueprints or construction plans
• strong knowledge of safety procedures and practices in the construction industry
• experience operating power tools such as saws and drills
• basic carpentry skills for framing or finishing tasks is a plus
• welding experience is a plus
• experience working on roofs is a plus

Responsibility

• vision Properties have an opening for Assistant Lettings Manager within a young and expanding company
• assist with lettings enquiries, booking & conducting viewings with prospective tenants
• an ARLA Level 3 qualification would be beneficial but not essential

• discuss offers with landlord/manager and negotiate with tenants where necessary
• oversee the check in & check out process
• conduct regular property inspections
• the number of properties that they have responsibility for will increase as new instructions are bought in to the company
• to ensure tenancies are renewed as often as possible to aid with landlord security and income generation for the business
• the role of Assistant Lettings Manager is integral to the day to day running of the lettings portfolio of the company and will work directly under the Lettings Manager
• the right candidate will ideally have +3 years’ experience in property management
• to support all colleagues in other functions where requested
• the Assistant Lettings Manager will be responsible for the management of circa 80 properties of the wider portfolio as well as a good number of Let Only properties
• to feedback on company processes for the purposes of continuous improvement within the company
• to ensure the continued high quality of properties under management by ensuring all maintenance pre-tenancy and mid-tenancy is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner with all stakeholders updated regularly throughout the process
• to liaise with contractors to make sure they have the information, keys and access needed to complete works on properties in an efficient and cost-effective manner
• provide weekly reports to the Head of Lettings on day to day running of the office
• to ensure landlords are notified in a timely manner about notices to allow sufficient time to market the property at an appropriate price at the end of the tenancy
