- in addition, and under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Engineering, you will assist in the maintenance, repair, refurbishment, renovation, remodelling as well as assisting the team on other maintenance tasks as required and general upkeep in order to keep the facility functional and attractive to prospective customers
Responsibility
- wall preparation, including patching up, filling cracks and imperfections, cleaning, masking and protecting areas
- perform systematic checks and inspections to aid in the upkeep of the hotel
- assist in the already established proactive maintenance program
- keep all tools and equipment clean and tidy at all times
- keep a good and organized stock of all types of paint used throughout the hotel, ensuring the paint doesn’t run out or go off
- ability to work independently and efficiently in a live hotel environment, keeping in mind the health and safety of guests and colleagues
