Responsibility
- lead the daily operations of the residential home, ensuring the highest standards of care are provided to our residents
- foster and maintain positive relationships with our residents, their families and staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- ensure the home complies with all regulatory and legal requirements, including CQC regulations and health and safety standards
- inspire and develop a team of care staff, providing ongoing training and support to help them reach their full potential
- effectively manage budgets and resources to ensure the financial viability of the home
- work closely with healthcare professionals and external agencies to provide the best possible care to our residents
Requirements
- proven experience managing a residential care home for older people living with dementia, with a track record of delivering exceptional care
- strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve outstanding results
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, their families, and staff
- in-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and health and safety standards
- ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions quickly
- A genuine passion for providing the highest standard of care to older people living with dementia
