Responsibility
summary
to plan and carry out sales activities on the travel agent channel via outbound calls, webinars and trainings
focusing on top producing accounts to increase sales revenue for all Viking products and any future product that may be launched
this position will drive the success of ensuring that Viking’s product mix remains as a top of mind vendor
this position works closely with Directors of Business Development, Inside Sales Managers and the Vice President of Sales and National Accounts
effective sales phone calls; Training agents on how to market the Viking brand; Securing webinar based trainings with top producing agencies and identifying potential marketing initiatives; Managing the sales option process to maximize sales cycle effectiveness; Conducting phone-based conference calls with top agencies marketing contact to articulate business model and value proposition of selling Viking; Developing and qualifying top travel agencies within territory to drive additional sales opportunities; Gathering business intelligence on top travel agencies, competition and the travel industry to support the scheduling of agent and consumer events; other responsibilities as required
Requirements

3+ years proven commission-based sales/business management or development experience
