Responsibility
- you will have a keen interest in Health & Safety aspects of the workplace
- in your role, working closely with managers and directors, managing your own workload, you will oversee and manage all aspects of the H&S function for a site of circa 115 employees
- alongside managing data and record of H&S systems, you will be supporting and training our diverse, non-technical workforce to enhance their H&S understanding and compliance continuously
- responsibility for overseeing the BRC accreditation and maintaining Food Grade standards.We will expect you to display initiative and problem-solving skills to find reasonably practicable solutions while managing and implementing improvements
Requirements
- IOSH technical level membership or working towards
- relevant graduate degree
- experience of working in a manufacturing environment
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- certificate of First Aid at Work/ Emergency First Aid/ Fire Marshal /Fire Awareness other H&S related training
- experience in H&S role
- experience of conducting Tool Box Talks
- experience and ability to effectively liaise with legislative and regulatory bodies as well as other stakeholders
