warehouse supervisor
Responsibility
- manage and train a team of warehouse operatives to ensure smooth day-to-day warehouse operations
- foster a team-oriented atmosphere and work collaboratively with team members to achieve company targets and objectives
- ensure all warehouse staff are adequately trained and competent in their roles to maintain operational flexibility
- coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching products
- maintain accurate stock records using Warehouse Management System and investigate/report any stock inaccuracies
- supervise order picking, goods receiving, and dispatch processes to meet customer orders on time
- organise and conduct regular stocktakes to ensure inventory accuracy
- ensure adherence to company procedures and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- previous experience in a warehouse supervisory role, preferably within a fast-paced environment
- ability to adapt to changing customer requirements and work flexibly as needed
- knowledge of inventory and supply chain management practices is desirable
- proven track record of driving teams to achieve targets and Key Performance Indicators
- experience in developing and training team members
- strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems *OrderWise* or similar software
- prior Key holder responsibility
