Responsibility
- hires entry-level customer service employees
- trains new employees in the company’s customer service policies, procedures, and best practices
- organizes and oversees the schedules and work of assigned staff
- point of escalation for any customer related or team queries
- prepares monthly reports summarizing the assigned customer service teams performance
- this position is responsible for delivering customer service by managing the activities of the Customer Service Department and the order fulfillment process
- conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
- interacts closely with the Scheduler and Operations to respond to enquiries internally and externally with regard to scheduling, raw material inventory, and shipments
Requirements
- excellent management and supervisory skills
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- extensive knowledge of customer service procedures and principles
- good understanding of Supply Chain Principles and Practices
- strong analytical and critical thinking skills; must be able to extract and analyse data
- ability to resolve customer complaints and issues while maintaining a professional and calm demeanour
- ability to coach and mentor customer service representatives
- IFS experience is desirable
