Responsibility
- we are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a 3.5t Van Driver for pallet collection
- drive a 3.5t flatbed van to client sites for the collection of empty pallets in Milton Keynes, Northampton, and Aylesbury
- load and secure empty pallets on the flatbed van using appropriate securing techniques and equipment
- you will then transport the empty pallets back to our Milton Keynes Depot
- utilize the client's mobile application to navigate to the designated client sites and collect daily orders efficiently
- adhere to all relevant road safety regulations and maintain a high standard of driving behavior at all times
- complete paperwork and maintain accurate records of collected pallets, ensuring all necessary documentation is properly completed
- communicate effectively with clients and provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience throughout the collection process
Requirements
- demonstrated experience or competency in securing empty pallets on a flatbed van
- familiarity with Milton Keynes, Northampton, and Aylesbury areas, as well as surrounding regions, is preferred
- proficiency in using mobile applications for navigation and order management
- excellent organizational and time-management skills to prioritize collections and meet deadlines
- strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients
- physical fitness to handle manual loading and unloading of empty pallets
- hold a valid UK driving license with category B or higher with no more than 6 points on your licence, allowing you to operate a 3.5t van
