Responsibility
- provide best-in-class technical pre-sales expertise to help customers obtain the maximum amount of revenue value from their energy storage applications
- support sales management and account managers, the business development, and internal technical staff, prepare technical responses to customer RFQ / RFPs
- ensure a successful and appropriate handover of customer orders to project management
- be the liaison between customers and the technical team to obtain feedback on product performance, quality, documentation, and overall customer satisfaction
- analyse customer requirements and determine appropriate strategies
- review and configure customer project requirements and designs
- understand ABS product specifications, capabilities, and limitations
- build and maintain tools to calculate, configure and present project designs
Requirements
- bachelors’ degree in Energy, Power, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- minimum of five years of experience in Grid Scale Energy Storage in an engineering, consulting, or sales engineering role
- proficiency in one major EU language proficiency required
- thrives in a team collaborative environment but can work independently
- strong quantitative analysis skills
- solid knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals and design concepts
- demonstrated experience with writing technical sales proposals
- solid understanding of energy storage battery technologies and applications such as peak shifting/shaving, long-duration dispatch, frequency support, T&D deferral, renewable firming/smoothing, etc
