Responsibility
- the successful applicant needs to have a full clean driving license with daily transport, also basic tools preferred
- the successful applicant would be required to carry out all aspects of vehicle servicing, diagnosing, maintenance and repair. We work on a variety of all makes and models of cars, vans, mini buses. Welding experience is also essential for this role
- we are a family run busy fleet and vehicle repair centre based in Etchingham and Bodiam in East Sussex, Looking for a experience reliable and enthusiast mechanic to join our small hardworking team
- job Types: Full-time, Permanent
- our working day is 9 hours from 8:30 - 17:30 days and exact times can be discussed in interview. Their is a possibility of overtime if a job overruns however this is not expected and flexible
- collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
- provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions about vehicle repairs
Requirements
- previous experience in vehicle repair and maintenance, with a focus on welding and equipment repair
- strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of automotive systems
- ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members
