Responsibility

  • act as the first escalation level for queries from the team and stakeholders
  • be the primary payroll contact for maternity related enquiries and concerns
  • run pre-commit reports for payroll checking and support the team to resolve discrepancies / queries
  • perform month end & year end duties such as producing monthly payroll reporting
  • coordinate and compile P11Ds, pension re-enrolment and other employee benefits in payroll
  • support the Payroll Supervisor and Payroll Manager to deliver business projects from a payroll perspective and deliver process improvements/efficiencies

Requirements

  • experience working in payroll and knowledge of UK payroll legislation
  • ability to work well and should be a great team player
  • customer focused attitude
  • good analytical skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail
  • able to effectively communicate in a sensitive manner with others, as well as explaining the implications of decisions taken
  • with the highest integrity and be able to deal with personal information in confidence
