Responsibility

  • work closely with stakeholders and developers to elicit, analyse, and document requirements for software development project
  • organise and facilitate sprint planning, review and retrospective meetings with joint development team
  • creation and manual test execution of acceptance criteria
  • facilitate daily stand-up meetings with the development team
  • monitor the progress of the development team, identify and remove any obstacles that may impede team progress
  • create and maintain dashboard reports, primarily using AWS Quicksight
  • coach, mentor and encourage the team on Agile best practices
  • document existing processes to ensure compliance with best practices and to promote consistency across the organisation

Requirements

  • minimum of 2 years of experience in a Business Analyst role or related fields
  • relevant Bachelor/Mastersdegree
  • tech savvy – able to assist colleagues with general IT matters
  • familiar with Agile software development methodologies, e.g. Scrum
  • demonstration of continual professional development with IIBA, PMI, BCS etc
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibility

  • supporting the Leadership team in keeping the risk register up to date and generating MI
  • be proactive, demonstrate well considered judgements and anticipate emerging risks
  • responsible for maintaining the risk assessment process and Risk & Compliance Register
  • advice and support to the business across all business areas in relation to risk and regulatory matters, supporting regulatory and business-driven projects including rule interpretation of UK and non-UK requirements
  • manage new business projects - Coordinate, advise, review and challenge outputs in relation to Risk & Control conducting a business impact assessment
  • maintaining records using a Compliance System to ensure adequate cover and minimal exposure
  • encourage teamwork, sharing knowledge and information appropriately. Recognises the complex interrelationships among business activities and understands the wider implications of decisions
