Working hours

  • full-time

Responsibility

  • maintain continuity of supply of raw and packaging materials to production
  • manage & maintain all yard and storage areas
  • A knowledge of the quality management techniques to deliver the company quality standards, HACCP and Higher Level BRC
  • take ownership for all material wastage and champion all recycling initiatives on site
  • controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system
  • such that they are available prior to being required, i.e., zero material shortages; whilst optimising minimum stock holding requirements and ensuring working capital is controlled within prescribed targets
  • completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results
  • manage the introduction of new materials and the exiting of obsoletes, within specified time limits of product launch and all promotional activity

Requirements

  • people management experience
  • ability to manage others and building positive, supportive working relationships and delegate tasks as required
  • ability to communicate effectively and positively with all site personnel to support Company values and performance
  • IOSH Health & Safety qualification, Food Hygiene Level 2, HACCAP Level 2, 5s Trained, 3PL transport
  • people Management: 2 years
