Responsibility

  • here at UtterBerry, we develop all of our software in-house, across the entire stack
  • this includes designing the firmware for our real-time sensors, implementation of data processing and machine learning, through to visualisation and web application development
  • as a web stack developer, it would be your responsibility to work on building secure single page applications that provide inno- vative and engaging ways of visualising real-time data received from UtterBerry sensors
  • this would include implementing effective data visualisations on big datasets, responsive and intuitive website layouts, working with and implementing RESTful APIs for frontend calls, 3D implementations of spa- tial sensor updates and rigorous debugging and testing to assure multi-platform performance

Requirements

  • the motivation to continually test your code in multiple browser environments and assure the reliability of your code on any platform
  • the knowledge of JS build tools such as node, npm, webpack and rollup
  • being able to use version control software such as GitHub
  • the ability to work with RESTful APIs on the frontend and the understanding of implementationfor endpoints on the server-side
  • an understanding of database design and
  • an understanding of React.js , Vanilla JS , Node.js and RESTful API implementations, JS charting Libraries and WebGL implementations such as three.js
  • A keen eye for detail with a track record of building responsive websites that work seamlessly across a range of screen sizes and devices
  • to working closely with other developers in determining and following development plans and architecture practices
