URBASER ENVIRONMENTAL is looking for employees for positions:

team leader

Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • when the Team leader is away
  • to manage emergency situations via the sites Emergency Plan; deal with the relevant stakeholders and emergency services
  • to ensure the facility is operated in full compliance with all warranty and design criteria; planning conditions; environmental permit
  • deputy Team Leader
  • to ensure all facility inputs & outputs are processed correctly and in a timely manner
  • conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching and guidance to shift team employees
  • producing detailed incident reports, shift logs and collating all relevant operational data
  • responsible for maximising the availability and efficiency of the plant and taking proactive measures to improve plant reliability

Requirements

  • exposure to working in demanding and dynamic environments, with a proven ability to remain calm and offer consistent leadership
  • knowledge of all relevant facility consents, H&S legislation, safe working environments, safety rules and outages
  • extensive operations experience in the power generation sector. This can include Energy from Waste, CCGT, Oil, Coal or Biomass or time served Royal Navy engineer
