Responsibility
collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective donor engagement and recognition
collaborate with external stakeholders, such as businesses, community organisations, and influencers, to explore partnership opportunities
prepare regular reports on fundraising progress, outcomes, and return on investment
utilise data and insights to optimise fundraising strategies
donor Cultivation and Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential donors, developing personalized communications, events, and stewardship activities
maintain accurate records of donor interactions, pledges, and contributions while safeguarding donor confidentiality and privacy
networking and Partnership Development: Attend networking events, conferences, and community gatherings to expand our network and establish strategic partnerships
monitoring and Reporting: Track and analyse income generation activities, including donations, grants, and fundraising campaigns
Requirements
bachelor's degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, Marketing, or a related field
proven experience in income generation, fundraising, or sales, preferably within the nonprofit sector
strong knowledge of fundraising principles, techniques, and best practices
experience in income generation, fundraising or delivering a sales strategy
excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and engage with donors effectively
ability to think strategically, set goals, and develop and implement fundraising strategies
exceptional writing skills for crafting compelling grant proposals, fundraising appeals, and donor communications
enthusiastic and self driven, able to think quickly, plan and act independently
