proven experience in horticulture or a related field is essential
strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair preferred
ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with nursery work
familiarity with garden maintenance techniques and practices is highly desirable
proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
basic maths skills for managing inventory and record keeping are required
