- administer first aid when necessary and monitor clients' health conditions, reporting any changes to relevant healthcare professionals
- offer specialised care for individuals with dementia or those requiring hospice care, ensuring dignity and respect at all times
- maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties as required
Requirements
- previous experience in senior care or home care is highly desirable
- knowledge of behaviour management techniques and patient care practices is beneficial
- certification in first aid or willingness to obtain certification is preferred
- strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families
- A valid driving licence is essential for transporting clients as needed
- compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility in approach to care needs
