Responsibility
- design, develop, and implement end-to-end data pipelines, incorporating complex business logic in collaboration with stakeholders
- migrate existing data pipelines from on-prem Hadoop to the Azure cloud environment
- conduct thorough data quality checks and ensure data integrity throughout the pipeline lifecycle
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- proactively identify and resolve data-related challenges and bottlenecks
- stay abreast of the latest advancements in data engineering technologies and best practices
- mentor and guide junior team members on data engineering principles and best practices
Requirements
- master's degree in a relevant field such as Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights
- proven experience with Python, PySpark, Git, SQL, Databricks, and Azure Data Services
- experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure
- excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- A strong work ethic, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a passion for data
- SQL: 2 years
- pySpark: 2 years
