Responsibility

  • ensuring proper governance of all purchases; correct authorisations received for the expenditure
  • running the billing process; raising and sending accurate sales invoices to clients to a strict timetable
  • ensure all supplier invoices go through the right authorisation route for sign off
  • providing customer statements monthly, or as required
  • manage the set-up of new suppliers
  • produce consolidated, highly accurate monthly billing information for internal and external customers
  • liaising with sales team to manage the process from sale > invoicing > collections
  • resolve and query charges with suppliers, where necessary

Education

  • certificate of Higher Education
  • diploma of Higher Education

Requirements

  • minimum of 3 years working in Accounts Receivable
  • the successful candidate will ideally be either AAT qualified, a part qualified accountant or have demonstrable experience in a similar role
  • AAT qualified or part qualified accountant
  • experience of using Peoplesoft is not essential but would be an advantage
  • experience of using Peopleplanner is not essential but would be an advantage
  • experience of processing large batches of supplier invoices a large diverse organisation or for multiple areas
  • experience of processing large batches of invoices in a large diverse organisation or for multiple areas
  • attention to detail

management accountant

Responsibility

  • month end completion
  • preparation of Management Accounts and perform review with relevant Ops director
  • ownership of P&L analysis and reporting full Actual vs Budget variance analysis and commentary
  • providing financial analysis and commercial insight
  • balance sheet reconciliations
  • providing regular financial reports for Group consolidation
  • supporting queries from the operational business
  • lead role on annual internal/external audit processes, liaising with auditors

Education

  • diploma of Higher Education

Requirements

  • minimum of 5 years working work experience
  • the successful candidate will be technically strong and part qualified
  • part qualified
  • experience of using Peoplesoft is not essential but would be an advantage
  • extremely competent in the use of Microsoft Excel
  • numerate
  • analytical and numerical ability - able to analyse and interpret data
  • IT literate
