Responsibility

  • managing all accounts processes, including liaising with accountants to produce quarterly and year-end accounts via Xero
  • chasing outstanding invoices and maintaining a streamlined debtors process
  • overseeing and implementing all membership processes, including new member registrations, updates, renewals, and data collection across various platforms
  • ensuring members are up to date with their insurance and processing fees accordingly
  • cross-checking members are registered with the relevant regulator
  • providing general administration and support for event processes
  • proofreading materials leaving the head office and maintaining a comprehensive work instructions manual for membership and accounting processes
  • in addition to the specific duties, you will also contribute to general office operations, including customer service , merchandise management, office supplies ordering, database management, advertising processing, mail handling, and providing general assistance to the CEO, executive board, and head office team

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a membership-based organization
  • experience in managing accounts and financial processes, including liaising with accountants and handling invoices
  • proficiency in database management and accurate data entry
  • strong communication skills to effectively interact with members, accountants, and colleagues
  • the ability to work independently, take initiative, and be a team player
  • excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle member queries and issues
  • A positive, customer-focused attitude and excellent customer service skills
