process engineer
Responsibility
- we are looking for a Process Engineer in our United Caps site in Dinnington, Sheffield
- this is a new role, which will support the production and maintenance departments
- responsible for Project management of new mould introduction, from pilot launch to production validation
- validating and qualifying our moulds at suppliers facility through to Installation and validation of mould at the UC Plant
- implement and maintain systems to collect, collate and analyse data on key process parameters
- organise and maintain the mould preventative maintenance program
- understand Injection moulding machine specifications and parameters
- manage robotic and machine peripheral specifications
Requirements
- degree in chemical/process engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- experience in project management
- understanding of technical drawing
- experience of working within an injection moulding environment preferably within the caps/closures industry
- understanding of production trials and design of experiments for process experiments/improvements
- leading and coaching others
- appreciation/understanding of process capabilities and general SPC
- experienced in fault finding/problem solving and structured root cause analysis
