they will help to incorporate the individual project schedules into the overall studio schedule, ensuring projects work cohesively together
our new studio in Montreal is an exciting expansion of our London studio and our staff and clients should have the same welcoming and creative experience in both locations
based in London, the Scheduler is a key role that plays a key part in the smooth day to day running of our studio
working closely with the RM and SOM they will be responsible for ensuring our projects are effectively resourced and delivered with our 2D and CG teams who are known for the outstanding quality of their technical and creative work on high-profile independent and film and TV projects
Requirements
enthusiasm and a passion for VFX
excellent attention to detail and strong organisational and multitasking skills
knowledge of 2D & CG skillsets
experience working within post-production in a runner, post production assistant or scheduling role
able to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
experience working with a scheduling software
flexible, good time management and ability to react quickly to changing demands and priorities
able to use initiative to identify potential problems and problem solve
supervisor
Requirements

ability to handle creative and technical matters with discretion and professionalism
experience in both episodic and feature film projects
strong project planning skills & attention to detail
strong knowledge of the film VFX pipeline
strong knowledge of both software and hardware
Responsibility
participate in tech scouts and production meetings with shooting crew as needed gathering relevant data & disseminating to relevant colleagues
planning
provide on-set reference, such as HDRI photos, as needed
go-to person at Union for all onset questions
work with Director, Supervisor and DoP during filming
build and own the onset plan working with Producer and VFX Supervisor
make onset decisions to maximise shot success and/or plan for issues
work with Supervisors, Producers, LPs, Ho2D and Ho3D to schedule the appropriate onset crew for the shoot’s requirements
