manage multiple strip-out projects concurrently, ensuring compliance with project specifications, budgetary constraints, and timelines
liaise with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to establish effective working relationships and ensure clear communication channels throughout the project lifecycle
conduct thorough site assessments, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to develop comprehensive project plans
oversee procurement activities, including subcontractor selection, negotiation, and contract administration
monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement appropriate corrective actions to ensure successful project delivery
manage project finances, including cost tracking, budget management, and invoicing
ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement by implementing best practices and identifying areas for enhancement
Education
GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
minimum of 3 years of experience in contracts management, specifically within the strip-out industry
solid understanding of strip-out processes, including knowledge of building regulations, permits, and health and safety requirements
proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery within budget and timeframe
excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels
strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and handle multiple responsibilities
proficient in using project management software and tools
A relevant degree or certification in construction management or a related field would be advantageous
full, clean driving licence
