it exists to provide expert support to its members on issues of reputational concern, to promote growth and champion the sector through campaigns, to provide business intelligence on sector trends, and to lobby Government to improve members’ operating landscape, ensuring the impact the sector can have on major societal issues is acknowledged and maximised

Requirements
● Previous experience working on events, minimum of 3 years
● Enthusiastic about physical activity, the boutique space, sport, policy in relation to health and wellbeing
● Highly accurate individual and multitasker
● Ability to work calmly under pressure whilst meeting deadlines
● Enthusiastic
● Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
● Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
event Management: 1 year
Responsibility
support the Events department with administrative tasks as and when required
● Liaise with all departments and teams to help create an overarching strategy for the delivery and marketing of the events to ensure efficient working

liaise with event sponsors once confirmed as event partners to ensure their sponsorship contract is delivered
liaise with ukactive’s external partnerships with the IESE, and EuropeActive to coordinate the programme
produce event project plans, event running orders and thorough risk assessments. As well as any other specific operational documentation required
ensure all marketing materials/collateral for ukactive events which are led by this role are up to date. This includes: webpages, invitations, e-newsletters, and any other relevant collateral
manage and monitor the budget for the programme and ensure all targets are met, working closely with the Membership Experience Team and Finance Team
