warehouse supervisor
Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- maintain relationships with logistics service providers into and from the warehouse
- motivate and manage the warehouse team to ensure the delivery of an efficient operation
- ensure a strong working relationship with the production facility and other areas of the business
- deliver accurate monthly stock takes and complete cycle counts as per JDE requirements
- make sure any movement of goods are recorded accurately on jDE and in a timely manner
- resolve queries and discrepancies with customer service team and supply chain team as required
- develop a culture within the warehouse that takes pride in their performance, the accuracy of data with regards to flow of goods and embraces change
- assist the warehouse team as and when required
Requirements
- lead by example, providing a role model for people working within the business
- represent the best of Bewley’s, well, both inside and outside the company
- maintain effective communication, giving direction, support, timely feedback and recognition to members of the Bewley’s team
- have a good understanding of the JDE and RF Smart systems used by Bewley’s
- the Warehouse supervisor must be able to supervise and lead the warehouse team exhibiting leadership in the day to day decision making within the warehouse environment
- be the main point of contact for all order and stock queries within the business
- adopt a range of styles to get the best out of individuals. Exercise authority appropriately, respectfully and direct others where necessary
- be able to represent the warehouse function in meetings containing multiple teams and on relevant projects as required
