- full appraisal of tender documents
- pricing Tenders/ Bills of Quantities including labour and material costings
- pricing quotations
- pricing variations on live projects
- tender stage site visits and attending bidders’ events
- delivering presentations at client interviews
- maintaining and creating excellent working relationships with clients
- preparing applications/ valuations for payment and liaising with clients
Requirements
- ability to understand and work from architectural drawings to produce detailed quotations
- more than five years’ experience in the building trade and preferably have restoration experience and knowledge
- knowledge of joinery, roofing, plastering/ rendering, brick and stonework
- flexible and able to work well under pressure and meet simultaneous deadlines/ targets
- good GCSEs or equivalent and / or relevant higher education
- full UK manual driving licence is essential
- degree qualified. Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Q/S or Estimator
