- monitor and coordinate the transportation of goods and services
- organise schedules and routes for delivery vehicles
- track shipments and ensure timely delivery
- communicate with customers to provide updates on shipments
- we are a Small UK Base moving company and looking to hire a new team, we are looking for hard working new employee to work hard for our company, we are aiming to extend this to UAE, Pakistan, India to make our company internationally for shipping goods, due to nature of business we will prefer new employee who can speak different language
- ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- maintain accurate records of deliveries and shipments
- identify cost-saving opportunities in transportation processes
Requirements
- strong organizational and multitasking abilities to effectively manage transportation operations
- excellent communication skills to interact with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders
- attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance with regulations
- A transport planning role with the capability to schedule drivers and vehicles
- problem-solving skills to address any issues or challenges that may arise during transportation operations
- specific experience in the road transport/air freight industry
- knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and best practices
- proficiency in using transportation management systems or software
