Responsibility

  • developing and maintaining your existing customer portfolio
  • meeting or exceeding Salesperson activity targets
  • performing all aspects of the sales process and input & update all relevant activities utilizing DgR Global internal systems daily
  • acting as the single point of contact for sales of DgR Global solutions and products across all Sea Logistics, Air Logistics & Road Logistics business fields with specific focus on Sea Logistics Products
  • smooth handover to Customer Care Department
  • obtaining new customers through sales "hunting" activity, correctly assessing the prospective account as profitable, significant or strategic in order to secure winning bids
  • conducting mutually agreed periodic business reviews with the customer and maintain close/ongoing communication with customer and DgR Global operations to assure expectations are satisfied
  • developing and maintaining proficiency in DgR Global Systems and Solutions as well as introducing and selling DgR GLobal IT solutions to customers

Requirements

  • minimum bachelor’s degree
  • A reliable, trustworthy and serious demeanour
  • excellent negotiating and closure skills, ability to work on your own initiative and in a highly organised way
  • very good computer skills, particularly MS Office
  • A valid driving licence and able to travel
  • minimum 2 years of extensive track record of professional experience and success as field sales representative in the forwarding / logistics sector
