Responsibility
developing and maintaining your existing customer portfolio
meeting or exceeding Salesperson activity targets
performing all aspects of the sales process and input & update all relevant activities utilizing DgR Global internal systems daily
acting as the single point of contact for sales of DgR Global solutions and products across all Sea Logistics, Air Logistics & Road Logistics business fields with specific focus on Sea Logistics Products
smooth handover to Customer Care Department
obtaining new customers through sales "hunting" activity, correctly assessing the prospective account as profitable, significant or strategic in order to secure winning bids
conducting mutually agreed periodic business reviews with the customer and maintain close/ongoing communication with customer and DgR Global operations to assure expectations are satisfied
developing and maintaining proficiency in DgR Global Systems and Solutions as well as introducing and selling DgR GLobal IT solutions to customers
Requirements
minimum bachelor’s degree
A reliable, trustworthy and serious demeanour
excellent negotiating and closure skills, ability to work on your own initiative and in a highly organised way
very good computer skills, particularly MS Office
A valid driving licence and able to travel
minimum 2 years of extensive track record of professional experience and success as field sales representative in the forwarding / logistics sector
