Responsibility

  • collaborate with senior estimators to review project plans and specifications
  • prepare detailed take-offs and measurements
  • obtain quotes and pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
  • analyse material, labour, and equipment costs
  • develop and maintain a cost database for accurate estimating
  • prepare comprehensive cost estimates and proposals
  • participate in project meetings to present and discuss estimates
  • assist in the preparation of project budgets and schedules
