Requirements

  • procurement experience gained within a CEM environment is preferred
  • A good understanding of the CEM industry
  • A detailed understanding of engineering drawings is required
  • level 4 HNC qualified or equivalent in relevant subject
  • strong written and verbal communication skills from team members to senior executives
  • excellent problem solving skills
  • A strength of character is required to work under pressure and to deadlines in an organised and calm manner
  • previous experience of working at a Management level with MRP systems, not only as an active user but also involvement in process improvements is essential

Responsibility

  • oversee audited stock takes which take place every six-months, in accordance with the agreed process
  • maintain a Supply Partner approved list ensuring that Credit Facilities are negotiated and utilised efficiently, risk is mitigated and relevant Quality Accreditations are recorded, with the support of the Managing Director
  • ensure the team has in depth and up to date knowledge of the company’s products and services
