Responsibility

  • U&I Care are now recruiting for a Residential Service Manager to manage the day-to-day responsibility for the running of the residential homes for Adults with Disabilities and other needs
  • to oversee all activities within the location, make sure that the quality of service and the support provided meets and exceeds all the requirements of the Care Quality Commission’s Fundamental Standards
  • to manage the service in line with U and I Care’s, Mission and Values whilst ensuring compliance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 Regulations 2014 and Care Quality Commission Regulations 2009
  • to ensure that each person’s care and support is assessed and regularly reviewed to meet their needs, working closely with the relevant funding authorities in accordance with the Care Act 2014

Responsibility

  • U&I Care are now recruiting for a Finance Manager to help lead the day-to-day of the finance department and payroll process
  • the successful applicant will be experienced with working hands-on and will take full ownership of our day-to-day financial operations and provide essential support to the finance team
  • this role requires a detail-oriented professional who is comfortable with ensuring compliance and maintaining accurate financial records, all while supporting the wider business with the business strategy
  • prepare and deliver month-end and year-end financial reports, present insights to senior management
  • ensure smooth and accurate month-end close processes, with reconciliations and the preparation of financial reports
  • maintain meticulous financial records and ensure the general ledger is always up to date

Requirements

  • strong expertise in payroll processes, invoicing, and managing month-end financial reporting
  • solid experience with bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and handling supplier payments
  • exceptional attention to detail with the ability to multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
  • strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to solving problems and improving processes
  • experienced in leading a team to achieve high standards and successful goals
  • 3 years + experience in financial management or a similar finance/book keeping role
