Requirements

  • proven experience in operations management, in training, or similar role
  • professional qualifications in training and development
  • deliver annual training and quality targets
  • strong health and safety background ideally in the construction or industrial environment
  • previous experience within a training company
  • deliver training service standards that meet and exceed customer expectations and those of our awarding bodies
  • A health and safety qualification
  • ensure adequate resources are available at training locations including correctly accredited and competent trainers

Responsibility

  • industry training services was founded in 2000 and has grown to become one of the largest and most respected health and safety training providers in Ireland
  • we offer a wide range of recognised and accredited training courses across a broad range of sectors including construction, utilities, manufacturing, engineering, telecoms, and housing
  • our purpose-built training centre enables us to deliver training on topics such as Street Works, confined spaces, plant, and machinery, first aid, excavations etc
  • our Northern Ireland headquarters and training centre is situated on a 12-acre site on the outskirts of Portadown, Co. Armagh and close to the M1 motorway. We also have a smaller training facility in Dublin
  • we currently employ 16 full and part time members of staff and 14 associate trainers and were recognised at the Business Eye Family Business Awards in 2022 as runner up in the employer of the year category
  • due to significant growth across Ireland and the expansion of our facilities and courses offered, we are seeking to add talented members to our team and are currently recruiting for an operations manager
