Trainee Credit Controller Belfast
TW are looking for credit controllers for a leading energy employer in Northern Ireland, they are also one of the Top 50 Businesses ranked by Belfast Telegraph. Do you have experience in Credit control? Do you love dealing with clients and chasing and managing debt?Reporting to the Payment and Account Resolutions Team Manager, the main objective of the credit controller role is to reduce arrears in line with target and improve company's cash flow.The role will involve incoming and outbound telephone calls, investigative work to locate debtors, working with third party agencies and reporting information when required to the Regulatory Department.Key Responsibilities and accountabilities include:Making outbound calls to customers in line with company procedureTaking inbound calls and dealing with customer queries promptly and efficientlyManaging a debt list portfolioNegotiating payment agreements with customersMonitoring and working on system To Dos as required and in line with targetsCreating and registering new accountsDealing with internal and external third-party stakeholdersEnsuring that all debt management activities adhere to Regulatory Codes of Practice, Data Protection and in-house proceduresUpdating customer contacts on the in-house billing systemWhat you need to succeed:3 GCSE's (grade A-C to include Maths & English) or equivalent qualificationA suitable place to work at home and good broadband connectionExperience of effective negotiation with customers in difficult situationsIT literate, particularly in MS OfficeWhat's in it for you:Competitive annual salaryWellbeing ProgrammeGenerous Pension SchemeHealthcareSports and Social ClubSubsidised Gym MembershipFree ParkingOn top
