Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- liaise closely with new and existing clients, maintaining good working relationships
- estimate Laser/Waterjet cutting and Folding costs, offering quotations directly to customers via email
- process & Program customer orders and liaise with Production Management to schedule orders to suit customer requirements
- purchase materials from multiple vendors ensuring best profit margins are achieved
- produce 2D/3D CAD drawings for Laser/Waterjet cutting and Folding for the shop floor
- the above is generally typical of the role. You may be required, from time to time, to undertake additional duties as agreed with Senior Management within the scope of your abilities
- assisting with production planning based on existing work volumes, job schedules and customer requirements to ensure a high rate of customer on-time delivery is achieved
Requirements
- engineering qualifications are welcomed but not essential
- proactive sales experience in Laser/Waterjet cutting and/or Fabrication industry
- proficient in the use of AutoCAD and the ability to read and breakdown complex engineering drawings
- experience using sheet metal or Laser/Waterjet CAM software would be advantageous but is not essential
- presentable with an excellent telephone manner and able to quickly fit into a small but busy working environment
- high level of accuracy and attention to detail required
