- being the middle man between production staff and the Production Manager
- managing shop floor staff - annual leave, KPI’s, overtime etc
- analysing performance to maintain/improve production efficiencies
- identifying training needs and deliver training where necessary
- encourage culture of staff being multi-skilled
- scheduling work for departments
- assisting in the production and assembly of driveshafts
- operating various machinery from presses to balancers
Requirements
- have similar work experience
- be able to supervise/manage people
- adhere to health & safety standards
