Responsibility
- install, inspect, and test electrical systems and components
- use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment or devices to run and connect wires
- use a variety of measuring instruments to check the electrical characteristics of devices
- read blueprints and other schematics and determine dimensions of the electrical system
- inspect electrical systems to ensure work was completed according to code
- follow safety precautions when working with electrical systems
- troubleshoot problems with electrical equipment and wiring
- install, operate, and maintain machines used for testing materials for resistance to electricity
Contract type
- approximate time would include site visits/ estimating 75% and electrical works 25%, but this could vary depending on workload/ demand
- arrange and carry out site surveys
- arrange quotations using our internal CRM/ management system
- organise delivery of required electrical work
- speak to new and prospective customers to arrange meetings/ site surveys
- carry out electrical work in commercial, domestic and agricultural premises
