Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- ensuring that all the relevant data, paperwork and setting sheets are collated and accurately updated and in a timely manner
- accomplished in interpreting technical drawings and proficient in using various calibrated instruments to check dimensions
- promote an atmosphere of cooperation and excellence within the department
- ensure NC data programs are controlled, stored and updated correctly on machines
- supporting any prototyping projects or improvement programs
- fully competent in operating assigned Lathe . Setting up machines ready for prototyping and production, with all the associated tooling, gauges, inspection equipment and correct documentation
- produce Lathe set-up sheets
- work with project managers and engineering department to provide estimates of programming time and manufacturing time for new jobs
Education
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years’ experience as a CNC Lathe operator
- 3 years’ experience in set-up and programming of CNC Lathes
- general IT background
Requirements
- also provides training to other members of the Lathe team
