Working hours

Responsibility

  • arrange, plan and facilitate weekly wellbeing peer support groups for 13-18 year olds
  • ensure new referrals are processed in a timely manner and to conduct assessments with new clients
  • ensure young people feel supported, valued and respected
  • facilitate discussion about mental health and share appropriate coping strategies within the groups
  • encourage peer support between group members
  • devise fun, creative and engaging wellbeing group activities in consultation with group members
  • seek out external organisations or individuals to deliver workshops and talks in the sessions
  • work alongside the Reachout Youth Sessional Worker and volunteers to deliver sessions and provide direction and support where necessary
