Responsibility
- read job specifications/interpret drawings to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
- operate CNC Milling Machine
- perform tasks associated with Machine/Job Setup/Run
- set up and operate Tube Punching machine
- operate Tube Cutting machine
- safely handle, move, load, unload and store raw material
- meet daily targets
- ensure products are produced to the customers specifications with zero quality defects
Requirements
- prior experience of setting CNC controlled machines
- prior experience of mild steel products manufacturing and production
- ability to read and interpret simple engineering drawings
- experience of using the necessary workshop tools and equipment
- have the necessary physical dexterity to use the relevant tools and equipment to undertake the roles and responsibilities specified above
- ability to complete work accurately within set time frames
- strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work within a team
- excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines
