Responsibility
- we are looking for a Commis to assist the production and preparation in our store in Glasgow
- follow recipes and established standards for food preparation
- monitors kitchen equipment and reports issues to superiors
- continually develops culinary knowledge to produce high-quality meals
- ensure that all food is prepared properly and to the highest standard of quality
- clean food preparation areas, equipment, and take-out areas
- the Commis will prepare food and beverages according to recipes and established standards, as well as maintain a clean and sanitized environment in and around the restaurant
- ensure that all health standards are met for food service operations
Requirements
- higher certification in culinary arts preferred
- 1-2 years of work experience in a similar role
- good understanding of food, health, and safety regulations
- excellent communication skills
- computer literate
- able to work holidays and weekends
- food preparation: 1 year
- cooking: 1 year
