Responsibility
- assist qualified plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures
- learn to read and interpret Manufacturer's Instructions and technical drawings related to plumbing systems and Gas Boilers
- use hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out plumbing tasks
- participate in the assembly of Plumbing and Has components and systems
- assist with heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed
- maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- support the team in troubleshooting plumbing issues and performing necessary boiler repairs
- develop basic maths skills to assist with measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks
Requirements
- familiarity with power tools and hand tools commonly used in plumbing and heating
- ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous for understanding plumbing systems
- experience or skills in joinery or soldering would be beneficial but not essential
- good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- plumbing: 1 year
- strong willingness to learn and develop skills in plumbing techniques such as being able to navigate through differents types of seals and fittings
- if applicant lives more than 20 minutes from Crewe town centre then would ideally require own mode of transport to the job site
