- maintaining live Range documents and ensuring that they are accurate and up to date
- agreeing and negotiating cost prices to ensure you meet your margin targets
- working with the planning team to ensure component lists and lead times are communicated accurately to ensure product lands on time
- working with the Bakery Manager to confirm cooking methods and recipe development
- attending meetings and visits with suppliers to maintain and develop relationships
- conducting market research and analysing target markets to ensure we stay competitive and innovative
- managing an organised library of catalogues and quotes
- liaising with the Sales Team on bespoke and licenced products
Requirements
- experience in a previous Buying Role
- general interest in the food market and food trends would be advantageous
- A team player with good communication skills, but happy to work independently to get tasks completed on time
- an open mind for development and learning
- buying: 1 year
- your position will support multiple people involved with the supply chain and route to market for our products and you will be reporting daily to our Buying Director
