- be responsible for Java app development, writing maintainable and reusable code
- develop and maintain Java applications in the development and test environments
- identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
- manage Java and Java EE application development
- provide analysis and recommendations for external Java technologies which could enhance and improve products to meet business needs
- basic Understanding of the concepts of MVC Pattern, JDBC , and RESTful web services
- experience using version control, Agile Project Management, and Ticketing applications - GIT, JIRA, Service Now
- expert knowledge of application development technologies, including Java, SpringIO/Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate
Requirements
- high proficiency with Java and extensive knowledge of its ecosystems
- solid understanding of a variety of design and architectural patterns
- the ability to write Java libraries that can be reused
- skill in writing clean, efficient, and easy to read Java code
- an extensive understanding of the basic design principles of a scalable application
- the ability to implement automated testing platforms, as well as unit tests
- A passion for keeping up with the industry as it develops and evolves Functional knowledge of Java-based IDEs and development tools
