Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- verify and record dimensional measurements for components for customers
- collate and check documentation for the issue of Certificates of Conformity
- assist the Senior Quality Engineer to prepare reports on rejects and/or corrective actions
- this would suit a person with core Business Administration skills with some mechanical / technical knowledge
- assist with the internal calibration and validation of inspection jigs
- work with internal process improvement teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving the quality of the products / processes
- liaise with Sales staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers
- on The Job training shall be given to the successful candidate
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- previous experience with completion of spreadsheets and documentation control
- an understanding of technical drawings and documentation filing systems
- familiar with measuring equipment
- experience in Quality Control / Assurance would be a plus but not essential
